I would tell my freshman-year self: Don't be afraid to put yourself out there, and always advocate for yourself when things aren't going the way they should. - Are there any faculty members who have made you feel particularly supported and encouraged at UNH? Yes, my Statistics in Psychology teacher made me feel supported because he took the time to thoroughly review my work and would reach out to meet when something seemed off or my performance was slipping. - Where have you found a sense of community at UNH? I have found a sense of community in my sorority! - What’s a UNH tradition you love? - A UNH tradition I love is touching the Wildcat’s nose. It’s said to bring good luck, and when you graduate, it’s a special part of the celebration to touch the nose again! - Tell us about an impactful hands-on learning experience you’ve had at UNH. Working at the Child Study and Development Center has been a very impactful hands-on learning experience during my time at UNH. Working in the Center allows me to experience working directly with children in the type of setting that aligns with my future plans. - -What’s your favorite spot in Durham?
