http://www.stvincent.edu | More than 130 Saint Vincent College students and volunteers took part in SVC Wraps, a community service initiative in conjunction with the Westmoreland County Children’s Bureau and Children First Fund that provides Christmas gifts for less-fortunate children throughout Westmoreland County. Throughout the school year, students raise funds to cover the costs of gifts, wrapping paper and materials. The group purchased all gifts and materials on Saturday, Dec. 8, and then held a wrapping party on Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve filled with holiday spirit, music, food and door prizes. More than 900 children have benefited from the project over its six-year run. Video created by Alex Byers and Thomas Fitzsimmons.
