She recently had the opportunity to travel to Brooklyn, New York, to assist Rick Fernandes, director of the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media, who was co-directing a video on malaria. The Fred Rogers Scholars Program educates and inspires students interested in pursuing careers or graduate work to help young children become con dent, competent and caring human beings in keeping with the mission of the Fred Rogers Center.
