The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Demonstration Kitchen is a signature room for the HRM program. The glass-encased kitchen laboratory is designed to provide passers by with an unencumbered view of the facility in operation. The room features state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, cooking stations, and the latest in teaching technology, including a closed circuit camera and viewing screen allowing the lab instructor to zoom in on demonstrations to give each student a clear view. The kitchen’s name reflects the Marriot Foundation’s generous support of learning and excellence in hospitality education at Northern Arizona University.
