Bordered by nearly a dozen residence halls, the central quad offers recreational green space and gathering areas that are popular with nearby residents. With a balance of open lawn and shade trees and conveniently accessed by a network of pedestrian pathways, it’s the perfect site to practice your slackline skills, relax in a hammock, study in the sun, or play a pickup game of sand volleyball. The site is also host to a variety of events, including the President’s traditional “Welcome Back” barbecue, the annual Wilson Whiffleball tournament, Homecoming events and live music.
