A spacious patio off the backside of the business college overlooks an inviting grassy quad bordered by academic buildings. You’ll also catch a glimpse of the tall and shiny "Benchmark" sculpture, more commonly known as the “French Fries.” The three rippling 40-foot-high pillars were built in 1983 as part of an architectural sculpture class project to create an artsy way to eliminate exhaust emanating from a pistol range that was then located in the basement of the nearby du Bois Center.
