Welcome to the Department of Film & Television, housed in Palmer Hall (with an additional studio and sound stage off campus). Here, students can earn degrees in Film & TV Production or Education and Training—and each major takes a strong core of required courses to ensure a solid grasp of the fundamentals of film-making. The art of storytelling is at the heart of this field, and students are not only exposed to the latest industry techniques but encouraged to share their own stories. Graduates of these programs have started their own companies, won film competitions, and gone on to further study in areas such as directing, scriptwriting, and editing.
