The newly renovated Student Center is the heart of student services at NSU. Inside you'll find offices for student organizations as well as admissions, residence life, multicultural affairs, health, counseling, career and disability services; a student art gallery and full-service post office. Welcome to historic Lincoln Hall, home of our School of Business. Here, we offer business-related majors or minors with a global emphasis—including finance, marketing, accounting, banking and financial services, and many more. Also based in Lincoln is NSU's Intensive English Program, offering an effective way for international students to fine-tune their academic English skills. Find the keys to your success at NSU inside Dacotah Hall. Here you'll find what you need to get you started and keep you going strong, with the Registrar's Office and academic support services including tutoring and advising. In Dacotah Hall you'll also find the Financial Aid Office, where you can learn more about Northern's WolfPACT scholarship—the highest four-year guaranteed scholarship in the state of South Dakota. Whether you are interested in intramural sports or just want to stay fit, Dacotah Hall's recreational gym and workout rooms are a conveniently located center of campus recreation.

We're now at Spafford Hall and the Krikac Administration Building. Inside Spafford, you can hear musicians practicing or see art come to life in NSU's fine arts studios. Recent art department renovations have added attractive new spaces and cutting-edge equipment in Spafford and Dacotah, including an expanded dark room, new computer lab, new photo studio, and reconfigured classrooms for graphic design and photography. Krikac is the primary administration building at NSU. The historic Krikac Auditorium hosts fine arts performances, classes and numerous other campus events. Krikac's gorgeous stained glass windows were restored in a recent remodeling project that brought the auditorium back to its original splendor.

Speaking of beautiful spaces on campus, take a look at our new International Sculpture Garden.Â The sculpture garden, located in Baumgart Plaza, is a visual masterpiece that merges the university's mission of international education and passion for the arts. The sculpture garden displays five statues by renowned Vietnamese artist Tuan Nguyen, titled "Four Elements", "Meditation", "Reminiscence", "Rendezvous" and "Triumph".

The Johnson Fine Arts Center was just remodeled in a $15 million project that added cool new features like a black box theater, more classroom and studio space—even an art gallery. The main theater has been completely renovated for better sound and comfortable new seating. This amazing facility holds more than 65 campus and community events throughout the year and is home to one of the strongest music and theater departments in the Midwest.

NSU's recently expanded Barnett Center is home to intercollege athletics and hosts some of the largest events in the Upper Midwest. This multi-purpose facility features an 8,000-seat arena; strength and conditioning center; indoor swimming pool and track; racquetball courts; wrestling room; classrooms and a 10,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center. Northern State sponsors 15 NCAA Division II sports. Part of a recent 26,000-square-foot expansion project, brand-new basketball locker rooms and a new wrestling room round out top-of-the-line facilities for NSU athletes.

The Barnett Center Strength and Conditioning Center opened in 2012 and features more than 10,000 square feet of space filled with state-of-the art equipment to help you stay in shape! This space isn't just for athletes - all NSU students, faculty and staff are welcome to work out here. Certified strength and conditioning coaches develop and implement training programs for each sport program and can provide tailored workout programs to any student, faculty or staff member.

Welcome to Kramer Hall, offering exceptional living in two-, three- and four-person suites. Each suite has a bathroom, microwave and mini fridge. Lobby areas include large-screen TVs and kitchens. One of the newest and most attractive additions to our campus is our greenhouse. This state-of-the-art facility is already enhancing research for students and faculty and will help keep our growing science departments on the cutting edge. Northern was founded as a teaching school, and that legacy continues in the H.P. Gerber Building home for education, psychology and counseling majors. In 2012, our School of Education received a $15 million donation from the estate of NSU graduate Millicent Atkins. This generous gift is an investment in your education and an investment in the next generation of educators. The Gerber Building also houses the NSU Reading Clinic, which provides a unique opportunity for elementary education majors and the highly sought-after special education majors to develop their skills.

Technology Center and MeWaldt-Jensen Building

Need technology help? The Tech Center is where you'll find it! The friendly staff will help you get connected, stay connected and keep your tech equipment running. The Tech Center also houses three computer labs, two smart classrooms, a fully equipped TV studio and a media center, where you can check out equipment including laptops, projectors, digital cameras and camcorders. Wireless access is available throughout the entire campus. The Mewaldt-Jensen Building houses our College of Arts and Sciences, which delivers a truly outstanding liberal arts education while supporting the more than 50 majors NSU offers. NSU spent more than $2.7 million on renovations to offer students state-of-the-art science labs and cutting-edge technology. Our superb faculty members bring knowledge and experience not just from around the nation, but from around the world, to provide you with a quality, diverse education. Mewaldt-Jensen is also home to the Center for Statewide E-learning, which delivers distance education to more than 1,000 high school students.

Our beautiful Beulah Williams Library provides great places to study, offers educational exhibits and hosts campus events such as poetry readings. The library features more than 250,000 books covering all majors and topics; local, national and international publications; and access to unlimited electronic databases. Eight study rooms are available for students, with a designated quiet zone for studying on the second floor. Best of all, you'll find a friendly, inviting atmosphere.

The Clark Swisher Activities Complex is where you'll find Northern State football and track and field. It's also home to one of the finest marching bands in the country, the Marching Wolves. The "Swish" has seating for over 6,000 fans and Northern consistently finishes near the top of the conference in attendance each year. The complex features a FieldTurf synthetic grass field; an eight-lane, all-weather surface outdoor track with exceptional field event areas; football locker room; and training room facilities.

Aberdeen, South Dakota, is full of opportunities for students. Outdoor fun can be found during all seasons, from exploring 210-acre Wylie (WHY-lee) Park and Storybook Land to lacing up your skates at the city's outdoor or indoor skating rinks. You will also find the hunting and fishing in our area as some of the best in the nation. Get involved any time of year by volunteering at local agencies, including the Aberdeen Area Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity.
