Sponsored by Black Student Union (BSU) Ja Marr Brown, WC Class of \'95 Known for his ability to connect with, entertain, and inspire audiences, Ja Marr Brown not only talks the talk but walks the walk. Faced with the many choices that all young people face growing up, he made the ultimate decision to pursue his purpose and follow his dreams. Ja Marr Brown is a graduate of Whittier College class of 1995 and the first person in his family to attend a four year institution. He earned a business degree, achieved status as a scholar-athlete for making the dean\'s list, and served as the captain of the basketball team. He was also elected Black Student Union President and Student Body President. Upon graduation, Ja Marr applied his INROADS summer internship at Allergan Pharmaceuticals and became one of the most successful professionals in the healthcare industry, achieving such distinctions as Sales Person and Sales Manager of The Year, and becoming the youngest Vice President of Sales at a medical device company. In addition to being the author of two books, \"What\'s Your Sales Story?\" and \"You\'re Ugly,\" Ja Marr has been featured in numerous media outlets and received many awards for his business and philanthropic endeavors. He is also co-founder of ACES, which is a multi-media news and production company.
