Travis Driskell is a 1st team all-conference defensive back for the Poets football team and vice-president of the physics honor society Sigma pi Sigma and is a classic, well-rounded Whittier College student/athlete. About 40% of male students and 30% of female students compete in Whittier's Poet athletics and the Poets compete at the NCAA, Division III level in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).
