Lauren, a junior history major and American studies/special education double minor at Loyola University Maryland, explains why Baltimore is a place to go to college. With more than 120,000 students at 13 colleges and universities throughout the city, Baltimore is very much a college town. Loyola’s campus is situated in a unique location just four miles north of the Inner Harbor, and students take advantage of all the city has to offer, including restaurants, arts and culture, music and entertainment, waterfront activities, internships and service opportunities, and professional sports.
