Fatima, a junior biochemistry major and studio arts minor at Loyola University Maryland, explains how Loyola's liberal arts core curriculum expanded her interests and have allowed her to explore a variety of fields of study. With Loyola's emphasis on personalized attention and mentorship, students are able to interact closely with professors as well as with other students and mentors. Fatima is a student in Loyola’s Pre-Health Programs on the Pre-Dental Track who hopes to attend dental school after she completes her bachelor’s degree with the goal of becoming a pediatric dentist.
