In 2005, the Student Life Center opened to enhance social engagement on campus by providing more than 18-thousand square feet of event and meeting space. The building is used for everything from simple conversations between friends to exciting, student-planned theme parties and more. It also houses a variety of important departments at Vanderbilt, including the Office of Honor Scholarships, the Pre-Health Professions Advisory Office, VISIT, The Center for Student Professional Development, Vanderbilt International Office, Global Education Office, and International Student and Scholar Services.
