This is one of our spacious music rehearsal rooms in Altgeld Hall, home to the School of Music. This open space accommodates music ensembles from orchestra to jazz band. The high ceilings allow for natural light as well as pleasing acoustics. The choral groups have a room of their own just down the hall from this one. You don’t have to major or minor in music to let your talents shine. Student ensembles are open to the entire SIU community. Some require an audition, but at SIU, your talent can take you as far as you want to go.
