Out Olympic-size natatorium is the perfect place to make a splash at SIU. The pool, which features 10 50-meter swimming lanes, 16 25-yard swimming lanes, eight diving boards and a 16-feet deep diving well, maintains open swim hours for students and families. It is the site of intercollegiate swimming and diving competitions, as well as for various classes and training and is one of the most prominent features of the Student Recreation Center.
