Kim Phillips-Fein is an Associate Professor of History at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. She is the author of Invisible Hands: The Businessmen\'s Crusade Against the New Deal (W.W. Norton, 2009), and is currently at work on a history of New York City during the years of the fiscal crisis of the 1970s. This lecture is part of the Conflicting Conceptions of Justice in the 1970s series.
