John Jay College of Criminal Justice hosted a concert featuring live musical performances by renowned musicians in support of the Myrna Bain Scholarship. Performances by: Alva Anderson, jazz vocalist Bernie Em, vocalist David Pearl, pianist Debonair Steppers Isadora Hicks Simington, vocalist Jo Marchese, vocalist Matt The Violinist Jay Starr, dancer Briannah, spoken word Dorothea Smartt, poet King Wear Crowns, alternative hip-hop Imani, vocalist Universal Image, dancers and surprise guests The scholarship was established in memory of Professor Myrna Dolores Ilari Bain to support the graduate school education of college seniors who are completing their undergraduate degrees.
