The lodge basement is an area for study, as well as sometimes for fun, which adds to the unique charm of this special place. The basement holds a computer lab for students to finish work between classes or for quiet study time. There is also a bowling alley, original to the building, as well as a pool table and lounge space.  Students will often gather here and the University hosts events in this area.
