The Columns, located on The Hill, are the only remnant of the original Westminster Hall, destroyed by fire in 1909. Two of the most revered Westminster traditions are the fall Convocation when new students enter the campus through The Columns and Commencement when graduating students pass back through The Columns into the world.

Humanities

Newnham Hall is the oldest building on campus, formerly the Hall of Science, built in 1901. Upper level English and foreign language classes, as well as sociology, anthropology and classics are held in this historic building.

Academic Success

Westminster Hall is the main administrative building and is home to Academic Affairs, Business and Registrar's Office, as well as The Wellness Center. The Tomnitz Family Learning Opportunities Center (LOC) offers academic support to students through a variety of programs, including the Learning Disabilities Program, the Academic Enrichment Program, the Peer Tutoring Program, and the College Transition Program. The LOC offers supplemental courses designed to support academic success in Humanities, Natural and Mathematical Sciences, and Social Sciences. The Wellness Center has a Nurse Practitioner on campus Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free to students.

National Historic Landmark

Built in 1928 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark in 1969, the building was the site of Sir Winston Churchill's speech in 1946. The gymnasium accommodates basketball and volleyball games, as well as wrestling matches.

Natural & Mathematical Sciences

Coulter Science Center, commonly referred to as CSC on campus, houses classrooms for math, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, psychology, and physics, as well as the Cadaver Lab. Westminster offers pre-med and health professions students an experience that is nearly impossible to find at other undergraduate institutions - hands-on human cadaveric dissection through the Cadaveric Dissection Program. At Westminster, students don't just watch cadaveric dissection done by an instructor - they do it themselves.

Athletics

Blue Jay Field and Kent and Judith Mueller Stadium is home to the Blue Jay football and men's and women's soccer teams. The field was made possible due to a 4-million-dollar gift from Kent Mueller, Class of 1962, and his wife Judith Mueller.

The Westminster Grove townhouses are located at the corner of 7th Street and Hickman Avenue (across from the football field). The Groves are open to Westminster students that are of sophomore, junior, and senior standing. Each townhouse has 4 single bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 3 bathrooms, living room, and kitchen.

Need a new student ID, parking tag or just want to work out? Hunter Activity Center, or HAC, as students call it, is our 29,000 square foot facility, centrally located on campus, provides athletic, recreational, meeting, and social space. This is also where you will find the Student, Residential and Fraternity and Sorority Life offices. If you are hungry, you can stop by Johnson College Inn or JCI as it's known to students, and grab a bite to eat.

The Reeves Library offers 3 levels that include two computer labs, a tutoring center and a collection that supports the curriculum plus resources are also available through MOBIUS and interlibrary loan. The online databases and e-books are available 24/7. The Reeves Library is home to our Student Success Center and the Office of Career Development. The Student Success Center offers a space to study, read and explore career-related resources. More than 90% of our graduates are placed into a graduate program or the workforce 6 months after graduation.

Here we are at Enrollment Services which houses the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Financial Aid, located in the lower level of Champ Auditorium and in the center of campus.

The Mueller Leadership Hall and Mueller Student Center was graciously funded by Kent Mueller, Class of 1962, and his wife Judith Mueller. The Mueller Student Center holds a variety of student activities and practice during the winter for many sports. Backer Dining Hall, known on campus as D-Hall, provides students with many options of your favorite foods, every day of the week.

Bookstore

Westminster College Bookstore is located in the lower level of Mueller Leadership Hall. All course materials including textbooks and supplies are available. Most books can be rented and many have digital versions as an option. Don't forget to load up on all your spirit wear while you are there!

The Quadrangle, referred to as the Quad by students, is where freshmen live, socialize and just hang out! Our halls are co-ed and the suites single sex. And did we mention laundry is free?!

Latshaw Plaza

In the heart of Latshaw Plaza stands the iconic "Breakthrough" sculpture, crafted from panels of the original Berlin Wall by Edwina Sandys, granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill. Adjacent to the restored 17th-century Christopher Wren church, this magnificent sculpture overlooks the serene landscape of Latshaw Plaza. Named in memory of Henry John Latshaw III, son of the revered Kansas City leader John Latshaw, the plaza embodies resilience and remembrance. His vision and generosity paved the way for the creation of Latshaw Plaza, a space where history, art, and legacy converge, honoring the enduring spirit of John Latshaw and his profound contributions to Westminster College and beyond.

America's National Churchill Museum

America's National Churchill Museum is a truly unique and historically fascinating part of our campus. The Museum is housed in the undercroft of the St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, a 17th century Christopher Wren Church, that was brought over piece-by-piece from London in 1965 and was rebuilt and restored. Inside the Museum, you can take a walk in Winston Churchill's shoes and gain a deeper understanding of who Churchill was and what was occurring in the world during WWII and the role Churchill played in ending the Cold War.

The Triangle is comprised of three halls, Sweazey, Weigle, and Wetterau, which all house upperclassmen, as well as having dedicated floors for our three sororities on campus.

The Davidson Leadership Plaza stands to commemorate Westminster's first 150 years of delivering outstanding education and serves as a catalyst for the next 150 years. The plaza is named for President Emeritus Robert L. D. Davidson, (1955-1973), who was instrumental in bringing the Winston Churchill Memorial and Library to Westminster College, the Plaza was built with a generous contribution from an alumnus.

Westminster's Fraternity and Sorority Life traditions date back to 1868, and our community has been thriving ever since. Our Fraternity and Sorority Life community has so much to offer for our students, including academic excellence, leadership development, brotherhood/sisterhood, networking, service and philanthropy, social opportunities, and so much more! We have 6 fraternities, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Alpha Order, Beta Theta Pi, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Sigma Chi and 3 sororities, Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Off-Campus Adventure

This nearly 5 mile paved trail follows the path of Stinson Creek from point to point. It is family and pet friendly, though dogs must be kept on a leash. The trail can be used year-round and features a lake, a bridge, and other activities.

Our Bustling Hometown

The Brick District is the charming downtown area of Fulton, MO. Filled with historic brick streets and buildings, vintage gas lamp street lights and history around every corner, this area is home to nearly 100 independent businesses. The Brick District has been recently energized by a new Board of dedicated volunteers that have provided the people of Fulton with a weekly Farmers Market, and the renovation of the historic movie theatre.
