In addition to its collection and computer workstations, the more modern Allen Library features a Gallery Study Area, Scholar Study Rooms, and a Research Commons offering a collaborative layout and high-end media equipment. If you look up, you'll notice a 40-bird art installation and a 28-foot fossil crocodile cast.

Denny Hall is UW's oldest campus structure. The French Renaissance-style building opened in 1895 as the sole university facility. Today it's home to several departments in the Humanities, including Anthropology, Classics, Germanics, and Near East Languages and Civilization. The Hall also houses the daylight basement-level Language Learning Center.

Drumheller Fountain is a focal point of campus located in the heart of Ranier Vista. The Fountain spouts up to 100 feet in the air from a pond dubbed "Frosh Pond" after UW sophomores tossed a group of freshmen into the water in the early 1900's. Countless student- organized events have taken place here ever since.

Gerberding Hall is headquarters for the University's President, Provost and other key administrators responsible for the University's accounting, personnel, communications, and future planning. Gerberding is also where you'll find the Office of Student Life and International Scholars Operations.

Guggenheim Hall is home to UW's Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics and the Department of Applied Mathematics. The Tudor Gothic-style building has undergone renovations to include up-to-date labs and learning spaces. The hall's research facilities include Fluid Dynamics labs, a Composites Structures Lab and a Distributed Space Systems Lab.

The Husky Union Building, aka the HUB, is where UW students fuel up, get their textbooks, and connect with the student community in a welcoming environment. The University Bookstore is located in the building, and covers students' class, home and gift needs. The building also features a Commuter Commons, a market, and several student offices.

Mary Gates Hall is a prime undergraduate academic center. It houses state-of-the-art classrooms, computer classrooms, meeting rooms and an auditorium. The hall is home to several academic affairs programs, as well as the Access Technology Center, the Information Center, the UW Career Center and the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity. At the heart of the building is a striking 2-floor Commons.

Red Square (actually named Central Plaza), is a connecting point for several campus buildings. If you're craving a quick, affordable bite, this is the place to get it. Here you'll find parked food trucks offering up BBQ, hot dogs, and full meals. Red Square also features an underground parking garage.

Parrington Hall houses the acclaimed Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs, one of the oldest schools of its kind in the country. The school is home to the Benefit-Cost Analysis Center, the West Coast Poverty Center, the Marc Lindenberg Center for Humanitarian Action, International Development, & Global Citizenship, and the Nancy Bell Evans Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy. The facility features conference and meeting spaces, as well as its own coffee shop.

This is the Suzzallo Library. The Collegiate Gothic-Style structure is filled with architectural highlights, including the Grand Staircase and Grand Stair Hall (which holds one of the world's largest books), and the Suzzallo Reading Room, which features a vaulted ceiling, hand-carved bookcases and leaded-glass windows. In addition to its collection, Suzzallo features computer workstations, a Media Center and a Geographic Information Systems Lab. Students can use one of the library's group study rooms or reserve a quiet study area. You can also pick up an espresso drink, pastry or small bite right here in the library at Suzzallo Espresso & Market.
