The iconic Tower sits at the heart of The University of Texas at Austin's campus, also known as the Forty Acres. The 307-foot building is home to administrative offices including the Office of the President and Texas One Stop, which assists students with financial aid, registration and more. It is also the site of the Carillon Bells, which play everything from classical music to Taylor Swift. Students can request songs via social media. The university celebrates student, faculty and staff accomplishments, including awards, graduations and national championships, with one of our six different Tower lighting configurations.
