The Bayou Building houses the majority of UHCL's classrooms, administrative and faculty offices, the library, alumni relations, the Campus Store, Patio Cafe, and the Bayou Theater.

The Bayou Theater is the premier entertainment venue where you can watch live music, theater and dance performances from classical to country, Broadway to blues, and more by artists from around the world. Students get discounted tickets to most performances and have opportunities to volunteer and lead productions.
Neumann Library

This two-story space located inside the Bayou Building is your destination for scholarly resources, research databases, personal study and collaborative work areas. The Neumann Library serves the community with collections for leisure reading, children's reading and movies. It also maintains archives and special collections.

Whether you want a delicious meal or a quick snack, UHCL Dining has you covered. In the Bayou Building, the Patio Café offers a daily menu of hot meals made to order along with a fresh salad bar, a variety of grab-n-go snacks, and a coffee shop that serves Starbucks coffee, teas and food to-go. If you're looking for a snack on the go, try the Hawk Energy Bar in the Rec Center for smoothies, drinks and snacks.

The Alumni Plaza is a favorite outdoor spot for students, employees and visitors. Dedicated to our more than 73,000 alumni, the area features the beautiful Distinguished Alumni Fountain along a paved stone walkway.
Student Services and Classroom Building

The Student Service and Classroom Building is the home to the office of admission, as you begin your journey at UHCL you will start in Admissions. The SSCB is also the hub of student life on campus and is home to areas that support you, including a student success center, counseling services, financial aid and more. The building also includes lounges and a large computer lab for you to work on assignments, collaborate in student organizations, and hang out.
Student Housing (Hunter Hall)

As a student at UHCL, you have two housing options. Hunter Residence Hall is the newest on-campus living community located in the center of campus, which puts you steps away from the Recreation and Wellness Center, STEM and Classroom Building, computer labs and outdoor space. As a resident, you'll have a unique opportunity to live, learn, and engage.

This 80,000-square-foot facility empowers students, alumni and community members to be champions of their physical and mental health. Members have access to an 1/8-mile indoor track, weight room, a cardio room, two basketball courts and indoor soccer court and programming to play sports and games, stay healthy and build relationships.
STEM and Classroom Building

The STEM and Classroom Building is one of the newest additions to UHCL for innovation and high-tech research. This 121,000-square-foot facility features 13 faculty research labs, 15 teaching labs and a 100-seat lecture hall. You also have access to student lounges on every floor to work on projects, relax and connect with friends.
College of Education

Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities

UHCL's Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities supports research on autism and developmental disabilities, trains professionals, and provides services and resources to the community. Students can collaborate with faculty and staff on research and client support. A caring staff of therapists, graduate students and volunteers see more than 100 families a year who struggle with behavioral aspects of autism or other developmental disabilities.
