Welcome to St. Joseph's College, Long Island Campus, located in the scenic village of Patchogue in Suffolk County. Patchogue village is experiencing a burst of economic and cultural growth with new restaurants, cultural centers, and the Patchogue Theater for the Performing Arts
Since 1916, St. Joseph's College has been providing a strong private liberal arts college education while maintaining its affordability to our students. The College has over 26 programs of study, programs for entering first year students, transfer students, returning adults, veterans, and graduate students. In addition, the College provides a well-rounded extra-curricular and an NCAA Division III athletic program.
Expanding on the first-class educational experience it delivers to its students, St. Joseph's College is building a 32,000-square-foot Student Center at the heart of its SJC Long Island campus in Patchogue.
With an anticipated completion date of Spring 2023, the new space will become a central hub for student life and a home away from home for nearly 4,000 undergraduate and graduate learners. It will also feature spacious areas for faculty, staff, friends and partners within the community to enjoy.
Framing the northern end of the quad with O'Connor Hall, Callahan Library and the Danzi Center, the Student Center will feature indoor and outdoor spaces that provide views out across campus and of Patchogue Lake to the east. You can see renderings of our new Student Center by clicking the images in the bottom corner of the screen.

O'Connor Hall, named in honor of former SJC president Sister George Aquin O'Connor, houses computer and science laboratories, a full-service dining hall called the Eagle's Nest, a grab-and-go style café called The Perch, security offices, student lounges, conference rooms, administrative offices, state of the art classrooms, the Long Island Campus Bookstore, our students run radio station, and our Muriel and Virginia Pless Center for Performing Arts. The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership is also in this building. The staff members work with students to coordinate club meetings, on and off campus events, as well as monitor student government associations on campus. They work closely with our Student Government Association, and the Campus Activities Board. The Office of Multicultural Student Life develops, implements, and builds programs, services and resources that foster intercultural and cross-cultural understanding and respect. Students can also learn about study abroad opportunities that are available in the Office of Global Studies. Our Academic Center is staffed with professional tutors who assist students, free of charge.
