Welcome to San Diego Mesa College (or Mesa), the largest community college in San Diego, California and home of the Olympians! Mesa has provided students with superior preparation for transfer or a career since 1964. In fact, Mesa boasts one of the highest transfer rates in the state to four-year colleges and universities. The Administration Building is where you'll find the Office of the President, Vice Presidents and other college leaders. Important decisions are made here including strategies to update campus facilities, maintain high quality academic programming, and accommodate the college's ever- growing, diverse student population.

Classrooms & Applied Theater Building

CT-100 is another of Mesa's main classroom buildings. It's also home to the Apolliad Theater where the Mesa College Theater Company performs. Members of the company have gone on to transfer to some of the top four-year theater programs in the country. Performances are open to the community, and Mesa students get in at a discounted rate.

Cafe

The Café is a central place for students to recharge and catch up with friends. There's no lack of variety here, with healthy foods and comfort staples from all corners of the globe. Students can choose from breakfast foods to hot entrees, sushi, soups, salads, sandwiches and more. In- between classes students can also stop by the Café and grab a coffee or espresso drink to go.

Quad

Sometimes referred to as the "Bookstore Quad," this outdoor area is a popular spot for Mesa students to meet up, relax and have a snack in-between classes in Buildings K and I 100 or stop-ins to the Café and Bookstore. It's also where Career Fairs and other special campus events are sometimes held.

G Building

G Building is one of Mesa's primary classroom buildings and also home to the Dean's Office and the college's Honors Program Office. Mesa Press, the college's student-run news source, is headquartered here, and conferences are periodically hosted in the building's larger spaces.

I-100 Building

The I-100 Building is another common place students come for classes. The building is divided into two and is convenient to both the Mailroom and the Tutoring Center next door.

Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center offers Mesa students more than 100,000 square feet of state-of- the-art learning support. This impressive four-story facility features its own Library, the Center for Independent Learning with over 140 computers, and modern media facilities. The LRC also features a collection of African Art on the first floor.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts Building (D-100) is where Mesa's art students gather for classes. Mesa offers a wide range of fine arts courses and tracks from the classics: Painting, Ceramics and Photography, to Digital Art, Book Arts, 2D/3D Design and many more. This is also where you'll find the Mesa Art Gallery, which hosts the college's Museum Studies program as well as professional, faculty and student exhibitions throughout the year.
