This is McKillop Library, a place you're likely to frequent as a Salve Regina student. That's because this 70,000-square-foot structure houses more than just books and periodicals; it's home to the Learning Commons, computer labs, electronic classrooms and study spaces as well. Along with a collection of about 150,000 volumes, the library features special collections that include materials on Newport's renowned Gilded Age mansions.

Wakehurst is an Elizabethan-style manor house that serves both as a student activity center and as a classroom and office building. You might come here for a meal, snack or a coffee, or you might come here to unwind in front of the fireplace or over a game of air hockey. Your campus radio station, performing arts department, and several student organizations are also based here.

Ochre Court is where you'll find the offices of Salve Regina's leaders, including the university's President. This French Medieval-style building is also where you'll come to discuss your Financial Aid and to attend a wide range of celebrations and presentations.

McAuley Hall is a multipurpose building that houses the offices of the Registrar and Academic Affairs, as well as the Academic Development Center and many classrooms. You can spend some downtime in-between classes in the Circular Rose Garden, which boasts a large number of the more than 30 rose varieties on campus.

Salve Regina's spiritual heart is here at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel. You can attend regular services at the chapel, designed by award-winning architect, Robert A.M. Stern. Students of all faiths can visit the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life and use the chapel's Prayer Room. Also, visitors and students alike can reserve the space for Catholic weddings.

You might report to O'Hare Academic Center for a science lab, using the latest technology available. Or you might head here for a cup of tea and a snack at Jazzman's Cafe. Several departments call O'Hare home including Biology and Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Nursing, Social Work, and Business Studies and Economics.

Here we are at Antone Academic Center for Culture and the Arts. In addition to hosting several Humanities departments, the Center houses the Dorrance-Hamilton Gallery and the Cultural and Historic Preservation Program -- one of only 10 nationally-certified programs of its kind in the nation.

Hunt/Reefe Halls house just about 270 freshman and sophomore Seahawks. Rooms here range from singles to quads and feature private bathrooms and lounges on each floor. Moore Hall, a small residence housing sophomores, is just a stone's throw away.
