The University boasts the largest total student enrollment in Oregon and is known for its highly-regarded programs and sustainability practices. Shattuck Hall is home to PSU's Department of Architecture and the Public Safety Office. The structure has been awarded for Engineering Excellence. It features exposed interior technology, studios, gallery space, a reception and reading room, and abundant natural light by design.

This is not your average university Quad. The South Park Blocks are the city's oldest blocks and have run right through PSU's campus since Portland State established its current location in the 1950's. Today the Park Blocks serve as a popular gathering place for students as well as the site of the Portland Farmers Market and other outdoor events. On any day you can appreciate the Blocks artwork, fountains, statues, and plant life.

The Branford P. Millar Library (aka Portland State Library), houses a collection of more than 1.4 million printed volumes and media and hundreds of thousands of digital volumes. Computer workstations are available throughout the building, including in the Library's Learning Center. The library also features group study rooms in a variety of sizes including practice presentation rooms, video viewing rooms and a Family Study Room. While you're here you can stop in for a coffee and pastry and Branford's Bean, just past the first floor computer lab.

Smith Memorial Student Union is a central place where students can connect and access services and student groups. At Viking Food Court you can grab coffee and a bagel or sit for sushi, tacos, pizza, sandwiches, salad and more. The Food for Thought Cafe_ offers up a student-run sustainable alternative. Inside there are also places to play games, bowl, see new art and listen to live music. A number of services and centers are headquartered here including the Multicultural Center, the University Market, Veteran's Advising, Child Care, and the Ticket Office.

Lincoln Hall was here even before PSU found its home in Downtown Portland and operated as a high school from the early to mid-1900Õs. The Hall is now a bustling venue for music and theater events with several practice and performance spaces inside. The Studio Theater, the

To accommodate a rapidly growing student population and thriving research programs, PSU renovated what was formerly Science Building 2 and opened the new Science Research and Teaching Center. Some of the Center's features include the 11,000-square-foot Center for Life in Extreme Environments labs, new Anatomy and Physiology labs, an Organic Chemistry Lab, and the Intel Environmental Science Teaching Lab. The new construction is 50,000 square feet larger and also greener, attaining LEED Gold certification.

This is the Peter W. Stott Center, home to the Viking's Men's and Women's Basketball and Volleyball teams. The Center is capable of seating up to 2,000 fans and also houses weight and training rooms, an aquatics center and courts for Racquetball, Squash, Tennis and Table Tennis. The Center also hosts Community Health classes and large-scale campus events

The Peter W Stott Community Recreational Field serves as a practice field for the Vikings Football and Soccer teams. It's also available for the greater PSU community and for rental, hosting Ultimate Frisbee tournaments and other outdoor events. The space features FieldTurf and lighting.

Hoffmann Hall is a standalone multimedia lecture facility used by various departments and for periodic campus events. The Hall features three elevated video monitors, digital audio-visual equipment, and a snack bar.

The Native American Student and Community Center (or NASCC) provides a "cultural home" for PSU"s Native American, Alaskan Native and Pacific Islander students. The Center opened its doors in 2002 to serve one of the ten largest Native American populations in the nation. In addition to serving as home base for several groups and chapters, the Center hosts regular workshops & many open to the entire PSU community.
