Die NWU-Puk bied 'n wye verskeidenheid sportsoorte aan. Ons beginpunt is die FNB Hoë Prestasie Instituut, of HPI. Die Instituut is op die Fanie du Toit-Sportgronde van die NWU-Potchefstroomkampus. Die HPI bied internasionaal erkende multifunksionele en multidissiplinêre fasiliteite, dus jou alles-in-een-plek vir sportontwikkeling en top hoëprestasie-atlete. Potchefstroom is die voorkeur oefenbestemming vir menigte internasionale, nasionale en plaaslike atlete en sportspanne, vanweë die voortreflike oefenfasiliteite, wetenskaplike en sport-mediese dienste, asook ons gasvryheid, goeie weer en hoogte bo seespieël.
