Welcome to New England Institute of Technology! Located in scenic Rhode Island, NEIT is a cutting-edge technical university that, through an individualized and experiential model, prepares students for the careers of today and tomorrow. During your tour, I'll be walking you through our main campus in East Greenwich and our two additional campuses in Warwick, Rhode Island. As I show you around, I'll be highlighting our areas of study along the way! Student Center

NEIT's downstairs student center is home to many student activities and events. From trivia to casino night, this area is transformed on a regular basis to host events that give our students an unforgettable experience outside of the classroom. The Student Center welcomes all and is a great place to gather between classes, eat with friends, and meet new people.

Dining Hall

A dining hall worth dining in - from wood fired ovens to a build your own taco bar, themed dinner nights, and options for all dietary needs, there is something for everyone. Residential students can choose from a variety of meal plans that include flexible spending dollars called Tiger Bucks which can be used for coffees, smoothies, and quick bites on the run.

Esports Lab

Our Esports Center is designed for gamers of all skill levels to come together and get an edge on the competition. Our "MSI X Plus" machines come equipped with i9-9900k processors and 32GB of memory, along with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080 Ti graphics card, one of the most powerful in the industry. The monitors are specifically made for Esports competitions, running at a "144Hz" refresh rate to give our students the smoothest gaming experience possible across multiple titles. The PC peripherals such as the keyboard, mouse and headset, are the latest in gaming technology.

Fitness Center

Our 8,000 square foot fitness center is filled with brand new equipment including a variety of cardio machines, squat racks, weight machines, and more! A separate studio space hosts a vairety of free group exercise classes like zumba and barre. NEIT's fitness center is designed to keep the health and wellness of our students, as well as their own fitness goals, a priority.

Architecture & Design Lab

This is our Architecture and Design Lab. This space houses our Architecture, Interior Design & Construction Management area of study. Here, students are being prepared for the most current and next generation building and design technologies. Each degree program follows a cross curricular approach which provides NEIT students with the essential knowledge of building science and technological skills to make them uniquely qualified among today's workforce.

Digital Media & Web Design

Any student that comes through our Digital Media and Web Design programs will be fully immersed in producing all kinds of content designed for both business and consumer benefit. Whether you prefer to film or edit videos, design logos or product packaging, create animations or produce music, our students walk away with a portfolio and professional presentation skills that they can share with employers as soon as they graduate.

Engineering Technology Lab

Here is a look inside our Engineering Technology Lab where students spend 50% of class time gaining immersive and hands-on experience. Students often spend this time working on projects that simulate job conditions and scenarios where they are responsible for bringing a product from initial conception to product launch. Our Engineering Technology degree programs prepare our students to confidently enter the evolving workforce after graduation.

Business Management Lab

Hands-on learning extends to our Business Management program as business students work with real clients to help them achieve their business goals. A passionate , well-connected faculty builds a curriculum based in both theory and practice, giving students an edge that employers prefer when hiring new graduates. NEIT's Business Management program maintains a Society for Advancement of Management chapter that provides opportunities for students to improve management skills and expertise through participation in programs, field trips, service, and national competitions.

College of Health Sciences

NEIT's College of Health Sciences offers programs that prepare students to be working professionals and leaders in healthcare. Our health sciences wing is modeled after a hospital environment and includes examination rooms, operating rooms, and more. Students can practice their skills on numerous SIM Mannequins through mock simulation labs and use NEIT's own VR surgical technology simulator, the LapSim ST. Upon graduation from CHS, students enter the workforce comfortable and confident as a healthcare professional.

Video Game Design Lab

Here is our Video Game Design lab equipped with everything our students need to design their own games. Named one of the top national schools for video game design by Princeton Review, our students have access to industry standard software and workstations featuring a motion capture stage, VR/AR equipment, and more. This lab also hosts our annual Game Jam Nights where students get together, bring drinks and snacks, and lock-in for 24 hours to create an original video game.

Information Technology

Here is one of our Information Technology labs where our students learn the most current processes, software solutions, and methodologies. Classes like ethical hacking and incident response make for an exciting curriculum that prepares students for real-world challenges in IT and Cybersecurity.

Building Technology Lab

Take a look at one of our Building Technology Labs. This lab is located at our Post Road campus in Warwick, RI. Here, students are able to develop essential construction, civil engineering technology, and management skills. Students in this lab will find themselves working in collaboration with architecture, engineering, and interior design students to simulate a real-world working environment in the building and construction trades.

Criminal Justice Lab

Our Criminal Justice program is located at our Access Road campus in Warwick, RI. It is a top 10 nationally ranked program that is designed to provide dynamic and intensive instruction in all aspects of the criminal justice system. Between working with criminal justice professionals in the community and an immersive investigative portfolio project, students graduate with real-life experience in the field.

Automotive & Transportation Lab

New England Tech's Automotive and Transportation Lab is located at our Access Road campus in Warwick, RI. Here, students are engaged in hands-on learning, every day, in our on-campus auto-body shop. Our Automotive Technology Department provides in-depth study and application of the most current trends in the automotive field. It is Master Certified by the National Automotive Technician's Foundation and sponsored by Snap-On, providing students with the best-in-class tools and education.

Residence Hall

Meltzer Residence Hall, houses 400 residents on New England Tech's main campus. The building is equipped with thermostat controls in each room, a computer lab, a full sized kitchen, and several lounge and study areas with TV's for students to connect devices to. Bathrooms and showers are single occupancy and room options consist of traditional doubles, singles, single suites, and double suites. Students connect in the residence hall through weekly events, creating a close-knit and supportive living environment.

Outdoor Courtyard

This is the courtyard located outside of Meltzer Hall. This space is perfect for outdoor yoga, soccer, res-hall events, studying, and so much more. A variety of outdoor games are available for students to get together with their friends to get some fresh air outside of the classroom.

Academic Skills

Part of what makes NEIT students so successful is the academic support offered to all students at no cost. The Academic Skills Center offers tutoring in writing, research, study skills, and all academic subjects. Students can utilize walk-in tutoring with flexible hours or schedule weekly appointments with a preferred tutor. Whether its extra help in a class or a comfortable and convenient place to study and do homework, academic skills has your back every step of the way!

Downtown - Main Street

Our main campus is minutes away from downtown, waterfront East Greenwich. East Greenwich's Main Street is vibrant and filled with shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants for students to enjoy and destress. Catch a movie or see a live-band, there's always something something fun to do around here.

Our final stop is the student center patio featuring a large fire pit which is a campus favorite nighttime event spot for student activities.
