Hi, Welcome to the Microsoft Campus in Hyderabad. Spread across over 54 acres and home to thousands of engineers who work on technologies that enable every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. It has three buildings, set amidst the magnificent rocks of the Deccan Plateau and shares its neighborhood with a host of other technology and knowledge spots. Come, let's take a look around.
Microsoft Services, Building 1

This is Building 1. Constructed nearly a decade ago, this is home to Microsoft Services. You know those business critical solutions which companies use to run their processes? Microsoft Services makes these happen. They take Microsoft products for enterprise and create solutions for global businesses.
Microsoft IT, Building 2

This is Building 2. Microsoft IT operates from here. While most of the world uses technology and products which are created by Microsoft, Microsoft itself uses products that are created by Microsoft IT. They work on technologies of tomorrow and create products and prototypes which are used internally before being made available externally for customers.
Microsoft India Development Center, Building 3

Central Atrium, Building 3

This is the central atrium of Building 3. Employees gather here for tech fairs and all other large, organization-wide events.
Multi Purpose Room

This is what we call a Multi Purpose Room or MPR. There are several of these in the Hyderabad Campus. These are high-tech auditoriums, which are fitted with the latest sound and projection systems. Employees gather here for workshops, seminars and hosting external delegations. We've had several distinguished guests here including Satya Nadella, Bill Gates and a host of other leaders from the business and technology world.
Work Area

This is a typical work area in Microsoft. As you can see It has open structure which enables better collaboration between team members. Each of these workplaces is set up with high-tech virtual conferencing facilities but sometimes employees just meet in the corridor for a quick stand up. While they work on what their most passionate about we make sure that there is food, beverages and recreation facilities close by.

Makerz Bay

With the growing impact of the Internet of Things, and the need for developers and creators to rapidly experiment their ideas, we've created a special lab called the Makerz Bay. The Makerz Bay is equipped with Laser Cutting Machines, Raspberry Pis and 3D Printers, which help give form to device-based ideas. Employees who just want to learn about the tools also attend workshops here.
Smart Rooms

Smart Rooms are places where employees can walk in without any device and join an online meeting. These places are equipped with operating systems and touch screens which enable rich audio, video and data sharing. The room itself behaves like a meeting attendee.

Ranging from foosball, volleyball, table tennis and cricket this campus gives an opportunity for employees to unwind from their sedentary lifestyle. For those employees who are fitness enthusiasts, we also have state-of-the-art gyms and yoga centers.
Ecology

Microsoft is proud to be an award-winning green campus, an environment conducive to creative thinking. We have hundreds of different species of plants, birds and reptiles, and a special butterfly zone. And to make sure that every drop of water on this campus is used well we have a huge water reservoir that harvests rain water. We also have plants that recycle and treat water. Our outdoor spaces are the perfect setting to have the best of gala dinners and outdoor activities.
Sustainability

Like most Microsoft campuses across the globe, the campus at Hyderabad too takes sustainability very seriously. We follow the three R's that are Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We're proud to say that over 40 percent of our campus is landscaped and Building 3 of the campus is LEED Gold certified as a green building. The campus has taken up numerous energy conservation initiatives. There are motion sensing devices that are attached to conference rooms, the entire building is set up with LED lighting systems, solar water heaters and energy management systems in labs that make sure that the usage of air is optimized. The buildings also have double glazed glasses that makes sure natural light sets in and radiations from the mare cut off.

Nestled between Building 1 and 2, is our special amphitheater. Here we host our community events as well as talks and these typically happen on pleasant evenings.
Cafeterias

All the buildings in the campus have their own cafeteria. These cafeterias are more like food courts and serve multiple cuisines being served across the three main meals of the day. These cafeterias serve up to 2500 meals in a day. The snack counters are open at all times including day and night. At 4 pm every day, employees get to enjoy free snacks, a new menu each time!
Visitor Center

If you are at Microsoft's campus and you want to experience Microsoft's latest technologies, Visitor Center is the place to be. You can play on XBox One, experience how Windows beautifully gels with different devices, including the Surface Pro, experience Office on Android, and also use gestures and touch sensors to use Ripple and Pixel Sense. And you can end this experience with a cool selfie with Microsoft's founding members.

If you drive a vehicle and particularly a car, you will love the Multi Level Car Park. With five floors and more than 4000 slots, this space has one of the highest employee to vehicle ratio for any corporates in this side of the world.

The Microsoft Campus has a bank - an entire dedicated branch. It also has a clinic with the best of doctors, a pharmacy and an ambulance. The campus also has a courier service and a concierge desk, which is loved by our employees the most. Why? Because they can pay their bills, collect their documents and even book tickets to a show!

Going around the campus is best done leisurely on foot. But if you are late for a meeting or a game on the other side of the campus, you can bicycle yourself there or take the internal shuttle.
