At LIM, we're devoted to studying the business of fashion and lifestyle. We combine a strong academic foundation with extensive real-world experience to prepare you for a successful future. Our college offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, all of which focus on key business areas within the fast-paced and exciting world of fashion and lifestyle. Our Fifth Avenue building is literally at the center of the fashion universe, located on the corner of East 45th Street. Here, you'll find some of our academic department offices, as well as spacious student lounges, if you want to take a break or catch up with friends. LIM College carves out a warm, welcoming, and tight-knit community within the exciting and fast-paced environment that is New York City. In addition to making our midtown campus your second home for studying, socializing, and more, our Office of Student Life offers many ways to get involved and have fun. Whether you live on campus or commute, you'll find a wide assortment of clubs, leadership opportunities, and professional organizations. From our Student Leadership Council to our Fashion Show Production Club, there are lots of opportunities to be part of our active student body.

LIM College offers helpful services to support you throughout your time here. Located at Maxwell Hall, our Library, Academic Resource Center, and offices of Counseling, Career and Internship Services, Academic Advising, Student Financial Services and DEI are staffed with professionals ready to help make your college experience a success.

On the 8th floor of Maxwell Hall, you'll find our Marcuse School of Graduate Studies. If you're looking for a flexible option for a master's degree, our master's can be completed in as little as one year. Whether you're learning in-person or virtually, these degrees are tailored to accommodate students who have professional work schedules and are looking to either advance in their current role or make a career change. And our Career and Internship Services team prepares all students to design, launch, and build a meaningful career, most notably equipping them to be successful in multiple industry internships, which are part of the LIM curriculum. Four-year undergraduate students are required to complete three internships during the course of their college experience, and they receive 1-on-1 career coaching and personalized support to achieve their professional development goals. Plus, our Career Coaches remain on-hand to advise students even after they've graduated. In fact, as an LIM grad, you'll receive free career services for life.

Although you may be going to school in one of the world's biggest cities, you're never just a number when you're at LIM. With approximately 1400 students, our average undergraduate class size is only 14, and our student to faculty ratio is 7 to 1, ensuring you'll receive individualized attention from our faculty.

What's better than having fashion classes and internships right in the heart of New York City? Living there, too! LIM College offers students housing at the FOUND Study - Midtown East residence hall, located on Lexington Avenue and 51st street, which is a quick walk from both of LIM's academic buildings and right by multiple subway and bus lines. Renovated in 2022, this residence hall features double rooms with their own bathroom, a fitness center, 24hr security, a laundry room, bike storage, a communal kitchen and dining room, as well as many other amenities. It is also around the corner from the NYPD's 17th precinct.

This is a standard double in the FOUND Study residence hall. Every room comes with a microwave, refrigerator, and a closet. Rooms also include one set of furniture per resident, including a twin bed and mattress, a two-drawer dresser, and a desk and desk chair. Deluxe rooms also include a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, sink, and electric cooktop.

As a student at LIM College, you can have classes in either of our two academic buildings, which are within walking distance of each other in midtown Manhattan. To get from the FOUND Study - Midtown East residence hall to our Fifth Avenue building, you can choose to walk along one of the most famous fashion thoroughfares in the world, passing fabulous stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Cartier, and Michael Kors. On your way to class you'll also see New York City landmarks, including St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center.

New York City's public transportation system is world class, and the best way to get around this bustling and vibrant city. Subways and buses operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The city's public transit is quite extensive, allowing you to travel anywhere in the "Big Apple" for less than three dollars a ride. Not to mention, both of LIM's academic buildings are just short walk from New York's iconic Grand Central Terminal train station.

Admissions Counselors are available to assist you with any questions you have about applying to or visiting LIM College. In addition to our ongoing Open House programs, the Office of Admissions regularly holds undergraduate and graduate Information Sessions, both in person and virtually. Our Admissions Counselors also meet with students at college fairs and events across the country and around the world.
