Welcome to Kalamazoo College (or "K"), home of the Hornets! Established in 1833, Kalamazoo has achieved wide recognition as a leader and innovator in the liberal arts. Kalamazoo students benefit from faculty with the highest levels of accreditation, leading focused classes. The College's Study Abroad program has also brought the college renown and has been active for more than 50 years. The fully-updated, environmentally-friendly Hicks Student Center is a daily stop for many Kalamazoo students. Under one roof, you can take a break, grab a fresh bite, manage your mail and shop for textbooks, supplies and gear. You can also visit the Student Center for counseling and medical attention, as well as to satisfy any questions you might have about services on campus.

Prior to the construction of Dow Science Center, Olds-Upton Science Hall served as K's primary science building. Now Olds-Upton is your destination for a wide range of classes, from Psychology to Physics. You can also come to Olds-Upton for help with your Computer Science and Math work, or to study in one of the more popular lounges on campus.

Welcome to the Light Fine Arts Building. If you look up, you'll see a 54-foot stained glass mural by late, renowned abstract artist Fritz Bultman and his wife, Jeanne Bultman. The building features three theaters, a recital hall, an art gallery, visual arts studios and music practice rooms.

Here we are at Dewing Hall, headquarters for Kalamazoo's Social Sciences. If you don't have a class here, you might stop by Dewing to visit the Office of the Registrar or the Advising/First Year Experience Office. Several centers also call this hall home, including the Center for Career Development, the Center for International Programs and the Mary Jane Underwood Insitute for Service Learning.

Originally a library, today Mandelle Hall serves as K's main administrative building, housing the offices of the President and Provost among others. As a student, you might stop in to speak with staff about your admissions records and your financial aid.

The Upjohn Library Commons is a comfortable place to work, research and study. You can kick off or inject your library session with a cup of coffee, smoothie or a snack at the Biggby Cafe. Then you can make full use of the facilities, which include media production studios, classrooms, a rare book room and an academic resource center.

Inside Dow Science Center you'll find students and faculty exploring the fields of Biology, Chemistry and Health Sciences. The Center contains more than 63,000 square feet of labs, lecture halls, classrooms and offices. The Center also includes a greenroom and a special purpose instrumentation room, creating the ideal conditions for research and instruction.

Class lets out every Friday morning to give students of all spiritual backgrounds the option of attending Weekly Community Reflection here at Stetson Chapel. The Chapel was built in 1932 and features a new organ and a set of rare English tower bells. The Chaplain welcomes visits and is located in the Cavern behind the Chapel, just past the memorial garden and fire circle.

Trowbridge Residence Hall is one of three halls on campus that offer housing for first-year students. Residents typically live in doubles with a shared bathroom on each floor. Rooms are Internet and cable-ready. Other building features include onsite laundry and kitchen facilities, multiple study lounges, pool tables and homey hangout spots.

Whether you're a jersey-donning Hornets athlete or a History major on a fitness mission, Anderson Athletic Center is here for you. All K students can use the facilities, which offer opportunities for weight training, swimming, rock climbing, yoga, dance and more. The Center is also a site for K's intramural sports programs and features a sauna.
