Bldg. 10 (Student Services and Administration Building)

Building 10 is the Student Services and Administration building that includes the Welcome Desk, staffed by Outreach ambassadors. It also includes Admissions and Records, where students can get student ID cards, verify residency and have their transcripts evaluated; Financial Aid and Scholarships for information about FAFSA and DREAM Act eligibility, scholarships, grants and loans; First Year Services, home of the First Year Experience program and the Assessment Center, the Counseling Center, the International Student Center, counselors for the Umoja and Puente programs, and the Transfer Center.
Main Quad

The Main Quad is the heart of Grossmont College. It is located in the center of campus and hosts a wide variety of events each year. It is adjacent to Bulding 10, which includes Student Services and Administration offices and the College Cashier window, where students can pay for classes, parking permits and special fees. Nearby bulidings include Building 70, home of the Tech Mall and Library; Building 60 with additional student services offices and Griffin Grill.
Bldg. 60 (Inside) - Griffin Center

Building 60, also known as Griffin Center, also offers two food service locations, including the Java Market coffee shop and Griffin Grill. On the outside of Griffin Center, students can also get the help they need from the Accessibility Resource Center and the Extended Opportunities Programs and Services offices, which include the DREAM Center for undocumented students, NextUp for foster youth support program, the CARE Program for single parents, and more. Also nearby is the Parking Structure where Campus and Parking Services, also known as CAPS, is located. CAPS includes lost and found, citation appeals and public safety services.

Buildings 51, 52, 53, 54 and 55, also known as the 500s, includes classrooms, labs and faculty offices for English, Computer Science and Information Systems, World Languages and Social/Behavioral Sciences, including anthropology, psychology, sociology, religious studies, philosophy, and political economy. The gardens in this area are also used as outdoor learning labs by the biology and Earth sciences departments, as they include native and drought-tolerant plants.
Bldg. 41 (Athletics program and the Exercise Science and Wellness department)

Building 41 includes the offices and classrooms for the Athletics program and the Exercise Science and Wellness department. Grossmont College boasts in a variety of men's and women's sports, and has won state championships in baseball, women's beach volleyball and badminton in recent years. Adjacent to Building 41 is the Main Gym, tennis courts, beach volleyball court, pool, footbal and soccer field, track, fitness center and weight room for student-athletes and Exercise Science and Wellness students.
Bldg. 34 (Health and Science Complex)

Building 34, also known as the Health and Science Complex, includes classrooms, labs, and faculty, technician and program offices for the Administration of Justice forensic technology program; astronomy, physics and physical sciences; and health professions programs such as nursing, occupational therapy assistant, respiratory therapy, cardiovascular technology and orthopedic technology. The building also includes the Human Patient Simulation Lab where allied health and nursing students learn about patient care in a controlled environment. Building 34 also includes science labs, a holography lab, a rooftop astronomy lab, two computer labs, an upstairs lounge and an outdoor patio.

The Grossmont College Library is located on the north side of Building 70. In the Library, students have access to a wide variety of services, including the book, ebooks and periodicals collections; DVD and streaming video; materials placed on reserve by instructors including textbooks and media; computers and printers; and research assistance. For research assistance, students can access in-person assistance at the Reference Desk, by phone or by using the 24/7 online chat. Library research classes and group study rooms are also available. Students can also check out graphic calculators, headphones and Arabic keyboads in the Library.
Tech Mall

The Tech Mall is located on the south side of Building 70. There, students have access to many services, including the Tutoring Center, which offers one-on-one and group tutoring in single subjects; the English Writing Center, the English as a Second Language Lab, the Math Study Center and an Open Computer Lab. The Tech Mall is also home to the Business Office Technology Flex Lab and the Assistive Technology Center, a cmputer and learning lab offered by the Accessibility Reource Center to help students develop comupter skills, master use of assitive technology and foster learning straegies.
Performing and Visual Arts Center

The Performing and Visual Arts Center is a 400-seat theater located near the main entrance to campus and is one of the newest buildings at Grossmont College. The Performing and Visual Arts Center is home to the college's art gallery and hosts performances by the Dance Department, the Theatre Arts Department, the Grossmont College Speech and Debate Team and the Music Department's music ensembles such as the Grossmont Symphony Orchestra, Master Chorale, Concert Band, the Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble, the Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, CADENCE Vocal Jazz Ensemble and the Caravan World Music Ensemble, among others.
Sports Fields (Baseball, Softball, Soccer)

The baseball, softball, soccer and football fields are located in the northeast corner of Grossmont College. With more than 15 sports teams offered, Athletics has had many successes including numerous team and individual national championships, conference championships and All-American selections. Student-athletes have competed as Griffins since 1961 in both mens and womens sports including baseball, basketball, football, swimming, waterpolo, volleyball, soccer, softball, and tennis.
