Welcome to Centenary University, located in historic Hackettstown, New Jersey. Centenary was founded in 1867. Today, Centenary offers over fifty 4-year bachelor' degrees, master's degree programs, certificates, and a doctorate degree in a variety of fields. Programs are taught in person and online.

Seay Administrative Building

The Edward W. Seay Administration Building houses financial aid, the bursar, mailroom, registrar, and admissions offices. The Whitney Chapel holds regular services and celebrations, and The Little Theater is one of three stages on campus used by Theatre students and the Centenary Stage Company. Various celebrations take place on the front lawn and in the front parlors. Tutoring centers are here to assist you with your coursework.
Reeves Hall

Reeves Hall is an example of a typical freshman or sophomore dorm. Rooms are double occupancy and located on either co-ed or gender-specific floors. Rooms include a bed, dresser, and desk for each student. The bathrooms are professionally cleaned every weekday morning and the laundry rooms work with your Cyclone ID card. RAs organize monthly events, such as game nights, movie nights, or hiking trips to the Pocono Mountains.
The SAC and Starbucks

Welcome to the SAC, the Student Activities Center, which is open 24 hours a day. Here, you can find the student eGaming lounge area with video games, pool tables and a huge flat screen TV. We also have a multicultural space to bring together our diverse Centenary population. Students are very involved in the local community, and you'll often find them in the SAC organizing charitable events. Students can also enjoy our onsite Starbucks, and conveniently receive packages at the Amazon hub.
Trevorrow Hall

Trevorrow Hall is the hub for several of Centenary's degree programs including fashion, biology, and other laboratory sciences. Fashion students will love the sewing room with new machines, mannequins, and supplies. Our fashion shows help students develop professional portfolios and talents for their careers. Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, Exercise Science and other science students take classes here while getting hands-on learning experience in one of our teaching laboratories.
Academic Success in the Harris & Betts Learning Center

The Academic Success and Advising Center, located in the Harris and Betts Smith Learning Center, is the primary source of academic support programs on campus. As part of promoting academic success, the office offers workshops and academic coaching to enhance students' academic skills and assist them in improving upon various learning strategies. The Disability Services Office, Office of Veteran Services, Career Development Office, Tutoring Center, and multilingual and international academic support are all housed within the Academic Success and Advising Center. Together, these services work to provide students with the resources needed to become successful, independent learners.
Taylor Memorial Library

Cultivating curiosity and creativity… The Taylor Memorial Library is made up of three levels with a vast collection of books, eBooks, and subscription databases to help you achieve success in your courses and programs. The library is designed to encourage collaborative and individual learning. You can seek assistance from librarians to support your research needs. We also host many events in the library. The Instruction room is available for student use at times when a library class or workshop is not taking place. The library houses the Writing Collaboratory, the Campus Print Shop, and the University Archives, containing more than 155 years of Centenary University history!
Reeves Student Recreation Center Gymnasium

Welcome to the home of the Centenary Cyclones, the Reeves Student Recreation Center. Centenary's NCAA Division III teams train and compete in this state-of-the-art facility. All students have access to our fitness facilities. Our basketball court meets NCAA standards and includes a seating capacity of 1,200. The wrestling room offers 5,000 square feet of space including a maximum size competition mat and a full cardio room. All outside sports are played on campus with our new Field of Dreams baseball field, our multi-purpose field, and Tannery field. Centenary's athletic programs stress the fundamentals of the games, as well as responsibility, discipline, and commitment to education.
Littell Technology Center

The Littell Technology Center offers technology enhanced classrooms to all students. Here you'll find the office for Centenary's regional champion Enactus team, which applies business concepts in ways that make the world a better place. The Littell Technology Center also offers a lounge area for students to meet and relax.
Founders Hall

Founders and Bennett-Smith Halls are the junior and senior dorms, which offer apartment-style living on campus. Each apartment area has four individual bedrooms, kitchen and dining areas, a living room, and two bathrooms. Community lounge areas on the second floor offer entertainment and gathering spaces.

Sitnik Theatre is home to The Centenary Stage Company, a professional theatre in residence at Centenary. Students may audition for, be cast in, and work on live theatre productions while networking with working professional actors, directors, and designers. Students also have the unique opportunity to join the Equity Membership Candidate Program and to earn their membership in Actors Equity, the professional union of performers and stage managers. With three different performance spaces and over 150 performances a year, there's always something great going on at the Centenary Stage Company.

Your dining experience is more than great food. It is a community experience centered on culinary expertise, fresh ingredients, healthy options, and a shared sense of environmental and social responsibility. Cyclone Dining Hall offers 12 different dining destinations, from classics like pizza, deli, soups, salads and a grill to more specialty stations like My Kitchen, Create Your Own, Rustic Roots and Simple Servings.

The Environmental Science Center is a special learning annex on property of the Charles O. Hayford State Fish Hatchery that allows Centenary Students the opportunity to gain practical experience in a real-world environment.
Equestrian Center

The Centenary Equestrian Center facility, established in the 1950s, is only a 10-minute drive from the main campus and is home to both the Equine Studies and Animal Health Programs. The Equine Studies Program allows for concentration in several areas of study and the Animal Health Program usings the horse as a model for veterinary care. Students also might participate on four different competition teams: the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, the Intercollegiate Dressage Association, the Hunter and Jumper team, and the American National Riding Commission. For 2024, Centenary University will introduce a National Collegiate Equestrian Association Division III equestrian team, the first in New Jersey.
Equestrian Center-USET Building

The USET building was built in 2000 and offers classrooms, faculty offices, a small cafeteria serviced by the campus food services, and a lounge area where students can watch riding lessons in the attached arena. Most equine academic classes are held in the USET building, with core courses being taught on the main campus in Hackettstown. The equine and animal health faculty members are industry professionals including judges, stewards, business owners, trainers, equine nutritionist, and a resident veterinarian.

These facilities, which house Centenary's wonderful donation horses, include three barns, wash stalls, tack rooms, laundry rooms, pharmacy, heated lounge, and faculty offices.

The Equestrian Center has several arenas for riding classes and team practices. There's a large outdoor arena, two indoor arenas, one of which is heated, and a hunt course consisting of more than 15 jumps over rolling grass terrain. Staff oversees horse care and students take an active part in the daily maintenance of our horses, including medication, feeding, turnout to pastures, and ensuring they are all sufficiently exercised.

The Wellness Center for Counseling and Health is a resource for students providing several essential services. This convenient resource helps students get the medical care they need while maintaining their focus at school. Our counselors work directly with students on navigating emotional, relationship, and academic concerns. Services offered at the health and counseling centers are covered under the Student Wellness Fees.
