When you walk in, you'll immediately notice the warm, friendly atmosphere here at Berkeley College. The Admissions and Financial Aid Departments are ready to answer all your questions about the application, financial aid, and enrollment processes. You'll be guided through choosing the right program of study to meet your goals and you'll also meet with financial aid advisors to help make sure you receive the maximum benefit you're eligible for. During the 2013-2014 award year alone, Berkeley College provided over $45 million dollars in direct grants and scholarships to help make education more affordable for our students.

From the beginning of your time at Berkeley, you'll get to know Academic Advisement and Career Services really well. Your academic advisor will help you choose your courses and make sure you meet all the requirements of your major. Career Services will help you explore potential career paths and make sure you are on the right track for the career you want. They'll help you with your resume and interview skills and place you in an internship or practicum related to your program. You can even reach out to them for help finding a job while you're still studying. Don't forget! Berkeley graduates are eligible for free lifetime career assistance, so you can reach out to Career Services even after you graduate.

The Berkeley library in White Plains combines traditional and virtual resources. Students have access to hundreds of thousands of book and media titles, streaming media programs, and a wide variety of research databases. The library also offers plenty of space for group and individual study areas. Trained librarians are available for assistance in finding the materials and information you need. Students can also borrow laptops and connect with the wireless network.

The Center for Academic Success is the place to go when you're looking for some extra help with your coursework. Free tutoring is available from faculty and peer tutors, and there's also online tutoring available for convenience. Other valuable support resources are offered—like workshops in writing, study skills, email etiquette, and more. And whether you want a quiet, secluded space of your own, a comfortable place to read, or room to spread out, there's plenty of room to study, too.

Berkeley College in White Plains also offers convenient, comfortable student housing options. Cottage Place is a modern six-story building right next to the main Berkeley College building—just a short walk from classes, the library, the student center, and all sorts of activities. Sussex House is a one-floor modern and spacious student residence located on the first floor of 99 Church Street. Residence Hall grants are available for those who qualify. All rooms come furnished and include kitchens , free Wi-Fi and cable TV service, free laundry facilities, and other amenities, like a free membership at a nearby gym.
