The Market Place Café caters to everyone, offering healthy vegan and vegetarian options alongside our famous ""Buff Chick"" every Wednesday. For students with allergies or dietary restrictions the 'Simple Zone' is the place for you! Enjoy a myriad of gluten and nut-free menu options, and our Sodexo staff are here to help with any of your needs. The Raven's Nest, located on the lower level, is perfect for late-night comfort food like quesadillas and fried mac and cheese bites. When you need a pick-me-up, visit the Library Café, run by fellow students, for a warm and welcoming spot to enjoy coffee, smoothies, and other treats.

Kick off your first fall on campus with the Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta or summit Mount Monadnock and become a part of a campus tradition that stretches back to 1970. The Residence Life staff is dedicated to assisting First-Year students in their transition from home to residence hall. Whether you have a preferred roommate or need assistance finding one, our questionnaire ensures the right match for you. First-year students are housed in Mount Washington and New Hampshire residence halls, both offering gender-specific hallways, shared bathrooms, laundry facilities, and gender-inclusive floors. Each hall is overseen by a professional Residence Director who manages daily operations and provides essential student support.

Outdoor Recreation

Situated on the scenic Pearly Pond, the Lakeside Education Center offers a versatile meeting and teaching space. The adjacent Boathouse provides students free equipment rentals, including kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and fishing rods. With its inviting firepit, the Beachfront is perfect for enjoying sunsets with friends in the fall and spring. In the winter, students can often be found playing hockey on the banks of the frozen pond. For outdoor enthusiasts, our 1,200-acre campus boasts a comprehensive Trail System with nine trails. The Monadnock Region offers kayaking, hiking, camping, and more. Whether you prefer serene hikes or challenging adventures, Raven Recreation's programming can help you create your perfect outdoor experience.

Northwoods Activity Center - The Bubble

Franklin Pierce University's seven-story, 72,000-square-foot "Bubble" is a vibrant hub for recreational activities, open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. The facility features a comprehensive range of athletic amenities, including a 50-yard turf field, full-size tennis and pickleball courts, basketball and volleyball courts, batting cages, a two-lane track, and cardio and free weight areas. The ground floor offers equipment check-out for various sports, while intramural teams and club sports utilize the space for practice and competitions. The top floor clubhouse provides pool tables, ping pong, foosball, a flat-screen TV, and retro games, ensuring something for everyone.

DiPietro Library

The Frank S. DiPietro Library supports students' educational needs with a welcoming, open-stack environment. Open over 90 hours per week with extended hours during finals, the library provides individual and group study rooms, printing and scanning services, and research assistance from a Reference Librarian, while the Curriculum Library offers valuable resources for our education majors. The second floor has group and individual study rooms, and the Bray Collaborative Technology Center in the lower level is accessible 24/7 for collaborative work.

Media and Communications

As a Communication major, you can choose a concentration in Journalism and Media Production or Media and Film Studies. The Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication provides extensive hands-on experience across various media platforms, including online and print newspapers, radio, television, social media, and political campaign coverage. The Center's state-of-the-art facilities allow students to write, film, edit, and produce content for student-run television, radio, print, and digital media outlets. Additionally, ""The Fitz"" houses the Ravens Sports Network (RSN), offering students interested in sports broadcasting the opportunity to provide live coverage of over 75 home athletic events and select road contests annually, supported by Raven Athletic Communications and the Fitzwater Center.

Nestled within a 1,200-acre living-learning laboratory between Mt. Monadnock and Pearly Pond, Franklin Pierce University offers students exceptional opportunities for hands-on fieldwork directly on campus. The expansive landscape of forests, wetlands, fields, lakeshores, trails, and gardens serves as an immersive outdoor classroom. Faculty and students collaborate to maintain the Pollinator Garden, harvest fresh crops from the vegetable garden, monitor local and invasive species, and perform algae testing in Pearly Pond. Spagnuolo Hall

Spagnuolo Hall is Franklin Pierce University's largest indoor event space, central to student life and activities. Designed to seat up to 250 people, the space serves as a hub for campus events, including Bingo nights, dance parties, guest speakers, and special events like the Honors Convocation and Fitzwater Honors ceremonies. Renamed in 2012 to honor Tony and Patricia Spagnuolo, the hall continues to be a vital part of campus culture, fostering community and providing a versatile venue for cultural and academic events, ensuring students have a vibrant, engaging space for both celebrations and academic gatherings.

The Arts at Pierce

The arts come alive through a vibrant mix of music, visual arts, and dance at FPU. The Music Department offers a range of programs from classical to contemporary, with many of our music majors also participating in the Raven Marching Band. The Thoreau Arts Gallery showcases student, faculty, and guest artists' works, while the Dance Program encourages students to create and perform original pieces. The Spirit Squad blends cheer and dance, energizing Raven Athletics. "Ready to make your mark? Flexibility and real-world experience set a Franklin Pierce business education apart. All our programs are fully accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education. Partner firms across New England and beyond offer sites for internships, consulting, and full-time jobs post-graduation. As an undergraduate, you'll apply classroom lessons to real business challenges through internships, senior projects, and work experience. Upper Class Housing

The Lakeview Townhouses offer upperclassmen prime residential views, blending the comfort of apartment living with community gathering spaces and outdoor cooking areas. Each townhouse accommodates six students in three double rooms, complete with three private bathrooms, a full kitchen, and furnished living spaces. Alternatively, Lakeview Efficiency Apartments house two students with a private bathroom and full kitchen. Sawmill Apartments offer a mix of single and double rooms, featuring kitchens and living areas for three residents. Upperclass students can also live in Granite, which provides a mix of single and double rooms with access to a communal kitchen.
