Frick Center

At the heart of campus life, the Frick Center is where you'll go for meals, a Starbucks cold brew, a game of Ping-Pong or a quiet chat by our fireplace.
Here you'll find a Commuter Lounge, prayer rooms and the University's Spirit Shop where you can stock up on Elmhurst hoodies and other merch.
The Frick Center is also home base for our student clubs and organizations. We offer more than 100 ways to get involved, meet new people, and explore your interests.
Dinkmeyer Hall

This is Dinkmeyer Hall, a traditional residence hall that houses just over 100 students. Overlooking the University Mall, Dinkmeyer features suite-style rooms, a large central lounge and a great sense of community. It's one of six residence halls on campus. We also offer more independent living options in apartments and houses just off campus.
Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel

Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel is where our community gathers for concerts, worship services, the traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols, and our annual Jazz Festival. The chapel also hosts prominent speakers. We've hosted Bill Nye the Science Guy, Sandra Day O'Connor, astronaut Sally Ride and even the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. back in 1966.This building also houses classrooms. Classes are small at Elmhurst, so your professors will get to know you as an individual.
Goebel Hall

Goebel Hall was originally the University's gym when it opened in 1928. Today, it's home to Registration and Records, Academic Affairs and Advising. It's your one-stop shop for course registration, advisor meetings, tuition payments and more.
Langhorst Stadium

This is Langhorst Stadium, where the Bluejays compete in football, soccer, lacrosse and track and field. The stadium seats more than 2,500 fans and has state-of-the-art FieldTurf, permanent lighting and a new scoreboard.
Elmhurst competes in NCAA Division III, with 10 teams for men and 10 for women. We pride ourselves on our winning tradition. We're also proud that most of our athletes have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Faganel Hall

Welcome to Faganel Hall, home of Bluejay Athletics.
The renovated main gymnasium seats 1,800 people and comes to life on game days. This is where you can watch the University's Division III athletics programs—or play as a part of the team! You can also utilize this facility for intramural and recreational activities.
Beyond the main gym, Faganel Hall houses a dance studio, racquetball courts, team locker rooms, athletic coaching offices and the Thomas Roberts Weight Room in the Tyrell Fitness Center.
This facility has hosted NCAA Division III Volleyball Championships and NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament games. It was also the summer home of Michael Jordan's basketball camps for 11 years.
Jean Koplin Memorial Hall

Jean Koplin Memorial Hall houses our Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, where students in communication sciences and disorders practice their skills by working with real-world clients.
Along with the Clinic, you'll find the Department of Education as well as classrooms and study areas overlooking Langhorst Field.
Koplin Hall is also home to the Office of Admission, where you can meet with an admission counselor, learn more about our programs and student life, and take a tour of our beautiful campus.
Cureton Hall

Cureton Hall houses more than 100 students in singles and doubles arranged in small groups, complete with community lounges. Residence life at Elmhurst features movie nights, cookouts, dance parties and leadership opportunities. Cureton's gorgeous Vista Lounge overlooks Langhorst Stadium, so you can cheer on the Bluejays from the comfort of our couches.

Elmhurst's award-winning library has nearly 100 computers for student use, a print collection of over 220,000 volumes, and thousands of audiovisual materials.
It's also home to the Learning Center, which offers free tutoring, and the Weigand Center for Professional Excellence, where we'll help you prepare for a successful career through internships, resume workshops, career fairs and other resources. More than 80% of our students participate in professional development.
Elmhurst's library is also an art gallery, boasting one of the world's best collections of Chicago Imagist and Abstractionist art. Nearly 100 pieces of art by the likes of Ed Paschke and Roger Brown line Buehler's walls.
Irion Hall

Built in 1912, Irion Hall is home to Elmhurst University's world-renowned music department. Our ensembles perform all over the globe. They have performed with Andrea Bocelli, the Manhattan Transfer, Bobby McFerrin, Doc Severinsen and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Students present recitals and chamber music concerts in Buik Recital Hall here in Irion, while large ensembles perform in Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel and the Mill Theater. Practice facilities include piano and chamber ensemble rooms, percussion and improvisation studios, an interactive media lab, and the *Gretsch* Recording Studio.
Elmhurst Memorial Hospital

A short drive from campus, Elmhurst Hospital houses the University's state-of-the-art Simulation Center. Our nursing students come here to practice their skills on lifelike patient models. It's a safe way to practice everything from administering medication to running an IV.
Nearly all nursing students at Elmhurst are employed within six months of graduation. They're working at places like the University of Chicago Medicine, Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Rush University Medical System, in everything from critical care and community health to behavioral health and rehab.

Just beyond our campus gates is beautiful downtown Elmhurst, a hub of entertainment, dining and shopping that's been called one of the best places to live in the Chicago area. Within a five-minute walk from campus, you'll find more than 40 places to eat, several cozy coffee shops, two places to hear live music, a bowling alley, charming boutiques, a historic 10-screen movie theater offering discount rates for students, and a lot more.
At the center of downtown Elmhurst is the Metra station, where you can catch a commuter train to downtown Chicago, just 30 minutes away.
