Walter Fieldhouse

Completed in 2014, the Walter Fieldhouse is a 93,750 square foot indoor multipurpose pavilion housing a full-size Astroturf football field, a 316-meter practice track, golf and hitting cage, long jump and pole vault pits, and a netting system that can accommodate multiple and simultaneous events. The Walter Fieldhouse is used for OHIO Athletics, Marching 110 practices, academic classes, Army and Air Force ROTC training, and intramural and club sports. The Fieldhouse is located next to the Perry and Sandy Sook Academic Center, which provides dedicated study and instructional support for more than 400 NCAA Division I student athletes.

Pruitt Field & Goldsberry Track

Pruitt Field, surrounded by Goldsberry Track, is located in the Athletic Mall. Pruitt Field is currently used by the women's field hockey team and club lacrosse teams. Goldsberry Track is used by the track and field team. The multipurpose facility features a top-of-the-line artificial playing surface. The stadium is also equipped with professional lights, providing the ability to host evening events. Goldsberry Track is regarded as one of the best track and field facilities in the Mid-American Conference.

Aquatic Center

One of the premier swimming and diving facilities in the Mid-American Conference, OHIO's Aquatic Center is an indoor Olympic-size pool with 22 25-yard lanes, 10 50-meter lanes and a pair of one-meter and three-meter diving boards. The 1,105-seat facility has hosted numerous conference championship meets. The OHIO Aquatic Center is home to the women's swimming and diving team, as well as numerous classes and club sports. The facility also offers open swim and lap swim times for members of the University community. The building has a sun deck overlooking Walter Hall and Bicentennial Park.

Bob Wren Stadium & OHIO Softball Field

Bob Wren Stadium in the center of the Athletic Mall, serves as the home for Ohio University baseball and is used in the summer by the Southern Ohio Copperheads, who compete in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. The stadium includes a turf infield, lighting, flexible seating, concessions, locker rooms and an equipment room. The OHIO Softball Field stands next to Bob Wren Stadium. Included among the amenities of the stadium are sunken dugouts, bullpens for OHIO and visiting teams as well as a covered batting cage area behind the left field wall. Recent renovations include the addition of protective netting, field boundary padding, a sound system and a digital scoreboard.

Chessa Field

Chessa Field, located in the Athletic Mall, is the playing field for Ohio University's women's soccer team. Continued improvements to the field since its opening include increasing the playing surface to the NCAA maximum and installing natural turf grass along with a new drainage and irrigation system. The Ohio University Golf Course, located on both the north and south banks of the Hocking River, is a nine-hole, par 35 course that offers a practice putting green and pro-shop. The golf course is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community for outings, tournaments and private rentals and is the home of the men's and women's golf teams.
