We're starting our tour on the University Center Plaza, a popular hangout. Enjoy a bonfire at night around the fire pit, or just hang out and relax! Within the University Center is the Information Desk; Academic Center for Excellence; career, health and counseling services; leadership and international programs; and office space, including Admissions. The UC Commons is a frequent student hangout where you can work on homework, watch TV on one of our big screens, or just relax! Within the University Center is the Dining Center and Hilltop Grille where you'll eat most of your meals. The Campus Store is also in the UC, as well as a game room.

Regina Hall is home for nearly 170 students on campus. Double or single rooms are available in this six-story building with common bath areas on each floor and a basement lounge, which includes cooking space, lounging and games. Conveniently connected directly to the University Center, you won't have to walk very far to the Dining Center for your meals! In fact, at Mount Mercy you're connected to the entire campus through our underground tunnels! Raining or snowing outside? You can get to class in the comfort of our tunnels and stay dry!

Welcome to Busse Library! The library provides open gathering places as well as private study rooms and computers for student use, including a computer center, Mac computer lab, and curriculum center. You will find plenty of resources available for research here, including books, films, databases, journals, newspapers, images, and much more. Open for about 95 hours every week, our library staff is available to help you find the materials you need to get your projects done. Virtual resources are also available 24/7 at your fingertips using your MyCampus account, which provides many electronic materials.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful places on Mount Mercy's campus is the Chapel of Mercy. Mass is held on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday evenings, and people of all faiths are welcome to join in these services as well as campus ministry life. Participate in a Bible study, volunteer time in the Cedar Rapids community, or join one of the many service learning trips organized by our Campus Ministry staff. Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, Mount Mercy remains devoted to its Catholic, Mercy founding, and is the only Mercy university in Iowa.

Welcome to Hennessey Recreation Center, home to volleyball, men's and women's basketball, intramurals and more. From team practice to game day, there's always action in Hennessey. In addition to practice facilities, Hennessey has a weight room, fully-equipped training room, and separate locker rooms for general use and student-athletes. The Gymnasium seats 2,000 fans, and offers a great view from the deck overlooking the court. A regulation-sized racquetball court, lounge and office and reception areas are also housed here. Mount Mercy offers 15 sports and is competitive in the NAIA Conference.

At Mount Mercy you'll get an education that offers hands-on experience and prepares you for real-life scenarios. Donnelly has several labs where this hands-on experience takes place. Nursing students work in a simulation lab with mannequins that are as close to real life as it gets. In the computer science lab, students are able to utilize a network independent from the rest of campus that's created just for them. The chemistry lab in Donnelly is also fully equipped for research and experiments to prepare you for your future career.

The top floor of McAuley is what we call "the Penthouse" with a view overlooking the entire campus and Cedar Rapids skyline. Welcome to Lundy Hall with a beautiful view of the Cedar Rapids skyline from the Lundy Pavilion. Lundy Fitness Center is located here. All students are welcome to use the equipment in the fitness center, which includes treadmills, weights, and space for activities like Yoga. Plenty of recreational classes are held in the fitness center at all hours of the day through our health and wellness program. Lundy also has classrooms, lounging areas, and a sculpture studio. Our Music Department offers private music lessons in this building so you can fine-tune your singing skills or advance your piano playing.

Mount Mercy is home to one of only a few remaining grotto sites in the Midwest. The Our Mother of Sorrows Grotto is a unique masterpiece on Mount Mercy's beautiful campus and students are often seen studying in the shade of the mature trees or spending time with friends on the historic bridge. Located near Lower Campus Apartments, the Grotto features beautiful stone architecture and a small lagoon surrounded by plants and trees. Two archways, an elaborate bridge, and a monument to the Ten Commandments on an island in the lagoon are just a few of the iconic features of this special spot.

Our ceramics studio offers a space for your imagination to take hold as you create pieces by hand or use one of the pottery wheels. Place your artwork in the kiln for an even more dynamic piece. Capture photographic images and watch them unfold in the dark room. Bring your projects to our print shop and have them printed in the style and size you need. Or rehearse in Stello Performance Hall and hear the echoes of your music up to the rafters.

Mount Mercy's newly remodeled CRST International Graduate Center is home to all of the university's graduate programs. Just minutes away from the university's main campus, the graduate center features the Olson Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic, a 200-person conference center, computer lab, SMART Board-equipped classrooms, the Graduate Grounds coffee shop, ample off-street free parking and multiple study areas. The graduate center is full of activity when classes are in session after 5:00 p.m. during the week, and on weekends.
