The Philip H. Ryan Health Science Center is a 58,000 square feet facility located in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. The state-of-the-art facility features classrooms, laboratories, informal group study and other learning spaces available to our students. One of the goals of the Ryan Center was to create a total campus experience for students in our Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, and Genetic Counseling graduate degree and certificate programs.

The Ryan Center has multiple study rooms that provide students with a place to gather for group discussions or study with their classmates. Each of these areas contains a wall-mounted monitor that is equipped with the technology program Solstice – allowing users to share and mirror their devices, fostering collaboration and decision-making. Other spaces available to students in the Ryan Center include a café and a wellness room.

Bay Path's Physician Assistant Studies program is an intensive, accelerated degree program that combines on-campus classroom and laboratory work with offsite clinical experience. Our students gain the knowledge and skills necessary for evaluating, monitoring, diagnosing, treating, and counseling patients across their lifespan. The 2 spacious patient assessment laboratories each contain 11 patient exam stations with technology, models, scrub stations, and training equipment. Students gain confidence and valuable experience in this hands-on clinical training facility which also includes ophthalmoscopes, otoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, ultrasound equipment, vascular monitors and plastinate cadavers.

Bay Path's Occupational Therapy programs are highly sought after. Students focus on: ethics, evidence based practices, meaningful occupation, function, and collaborative learning. Unique to Bay Path, the model apartment is specially designed to give Occupational Therapy students experience with true life scenarios. It contains a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, formal dining room, and seating area, which is utilized in labs to simulate a home environment for evaluation, treatment, and intervention of all ages. The Ryan Center also has four lab spaces specifically designed for each major OT discipline; an anatomy lab, a pediatrics lab, a physical agent modality lab, and a psychosocial lab.

The state-of-the-art facility features classrooms, informal group study and other learning spaces available to our students. Larger classroom spaces support academic courses, by utilizing technology for exploration of online resources, and interactive classroom activities, enabling students to work collaboratively. Our Genetic Counseling students attend in person lectures and seminars one weekend a year in the Ryan Center.
