Welcome to our virtual tour of the University of Chicago! Not only will you see important locations on our campus, you will also learn about UChicago's academic culture, resources, opportunities, and recreational spaces. The virtual nature of this tour gives you the chance to visit important off-campus sites and facilities as well. The UChicago campus is made up of several Quadrangles and we start our tour on the Main Quad. Built in 1892 in a neo-Gothic style that permeates the rest of the campus, the Main Quad features acres of greenspace and is a registered botanical garden. Students use the Quad for studying, relaxing, fundraising, and politicking. "In case this is your first visit, here are some tips to help you get started: -To jump to the next destination, select the ""Next"" button on the right side of your screen. -Or, if you already know where you want to go, simply select that location from the list on the sidebar OR directly on the map below. -And remember to explore each destination in more detail by clicking the interactive icons included throughout each location."
