Kroon Hall, the ultra-green home of the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, is one of the greenest buildings in the United States. Kroon was recently granted LEED platinum status, the highest possible certification for sustainable buildings, by the U.S. Green Building Council and named one of the Top Ten Green Projects of 2010 by the American Institute of Architects.
