A group of Johns Hopkins undergraduate film students got a firsthand glimpse at the entertainment industry this January as successful Southern California-based alumni gathered to talk about Hollywood. The Hopkins in Hollywood panel took place during an annual weeklong intersession course in Los Angeles, which gives roughly a dozen students an in-depth look at the film and TV business. The course includes studio tours and on-set visits, as well as hours of planned networking with JHU alums and a panel at CBS Radford Studios, which has attracted a rotating cast of screenwriters, producers, agents, and executives.
