During Research and Scholarship Day, we had the opportunity to speak with Katherine Aubin Hoyle about 'The Chance To Dance' project she created with Brooke Dempsey, Abigail Lawrence and Katey Howland. This project aimed to explore the benefits and barriers of adaptive dance for children and young adults with mental or physical disabilities. Their research revealed that adaptive dance programs significantly boost confidence and foster a strong sense of community among participants.
