Join us as we kick off Inauguration Week activities by welcoming Firefly the Hybrid to the Furman Student Center on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 4:30 pm. Firefly, a member of the Penobscot Indian Nation, helps to situate indigenous people in a modern context as he shares traditional and futuristic songs as well as dazzling visuals. He also interacts with audiences, through call-and-response singing, sharing of traditional indigenous dances and also inviting them on stage to perform traditional instruments. The performance will be followed by s’mores on the Furman Terrace. This event is free and open to the public. Those planning to attend should register at the link in our bio. @firefly.the.hybrid @hussonstudentlife @hussonstudentgov @hussoninternational #fireflythehybrid #hussonu
