The University of Maine offers many opportunities to play outside. Located next to the New Balance Student Recreation Center is Demeritt Forest. Here, students will find the Challenge Course/Ropes Course and more than 15 miles of trails for use in any kind of weather, from running and walking to skiing and snowshoeing.
