This view shows you just how close the Johnson Center is to the residence halls in the South Academic Support Zone. Through the trees, right next to the JC is the Lancaster Aquatic Center. Opened in 1989, this natatorium offers indoor swimming to the UK community and eligible Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) students. During the 50 hours of recreational swim, the center provides space for shallow water activities and up to 10 lanes for lap swimming!
