The Veterinary Technology Center is home to the program that trains future Veterinary Technicians for a variety of positions. A registered VT can work at a private veterinary practice, zoo, educational institution, or government office; in addition, VTs may become involved in important biomedical research or clinical laboratory procedures. The Veterinary Technology program housed within this building is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), meaning that graduates are highly desirable and qualified candidates for related jobs.
