The scale-up classroom is used by the Exercise Science, Geography Geology and the Environment, and Physics & Pre-Engineering departments. This is a modern learning environment specifically created to facilitate active, collaborative learning in a studio-like setting. The SCALE-UP pedagogy is student centered where the students are expected to be intellectually active during class sessions.
