The New School for Drama presents an annual Actor Showcase each spring, providing graduating actors with a formal introduction to agent and casting professionals. A Face Book brochure with each graduating actor’s headshot and contact information is distributed to over 800 agents, managers and casting directors in the weeks before the event, as well as in an online posting of their headshots and résumés for industry review. All attending professionals receive an additional Face Book, along with materials requesting follow-up from the actors.
