Rechnitz Hall, our new art building, opened at the start of 2013 and houses our Department of Art and Design. It also features a two-level art gallery showcasing the work of professional artists, as well as Monmouth students. At over 20,000 square feet, the building provides students with the necessary space and equipment to complete art-related degrees and courses. Rechnitz features three state-of-the-art Mac labs, an animation and editing studio, classrooms, faculty offices, a reception area, and student lounge. The building was made possible thanks to a generous donation by Joan and Robert Rechnitz, founders of the Two River Theater Company in Red Bank.
